Arakna Z - Mission Design

For this Project we was given a Base game (Arakna Z) and was given the brief to build and design a Level and Mission around this game and the story behind the game.

Operation: Thunderstruck

A military engineer and a pilot are sent to complete some reconnaissance on a military factory atop one of Rio’s Favelas - He must clear out the area of anyone or anything that is in his way, he will stop at nothing to complete his mission.

On this project I achieved a A (95%) my feedback for this project was:

  • My gameplay linked seamlessly with the environment.

  • Strength of my Pre-Production and research and it's link to my Final Product

  • Level Construction, layout and worldbuilding as well as Visuals and readability and scale was excellent

  • Excellent gameplay scripting and blueprints

  • Outstanding gameplay experience and very engaging set-pieces.

  • Very good understanding of Level Design shown

  • Lighting inside some buildings could be improved

  • Gameplay Pacing could do with some fine-tuning in the warehouse area.
