At the end of week 6 I said that I would start to focus on adding the Level Artists assets to my level and start to get my level looking great and so this week that was my task for this week.

The artist initially made walls and other assets using their own reference and also the references that I sent them over.

These are the walls that were initially created for the building, they are too thin and so could not be used all over the level. I reported this to the Artist and so they made sure that this was rectified straight away and sent me over a new FBX I implemented it in as soon as possible.

There was also some other issues with other assets that I had to report such as doorways being too small, light maps being wrong and similar small issues that are easy to fix.

During this time I also changed the lighting slightly by adding a point light below the rect light so that the player will be able to see the roof tiling and also see more around the walls. I also added a better roof that the Level Artist created which can be seen here. The mix of both of these really added to the look of the level as a whole.

I am now waiting on assets such as doors, windows/glass so that I can start to work on my event scripting and start to get gameplay working in this level.
